Happy Veterans Day!
"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter the words, but to live by them. " - JFK Photo - my back yard in the morning
and onto the TOP!!! So these blocks were donated by Sew Downtown - the Quilt shop in Greeley, and they are so striking. I have presentation coming up to a Motorcycle Veteran and I thought of this panel - and got to playing....
I have been able to successfully walk them together for 4 days now - not every walk, cuz they need their play time - but you all - My heart is SO happy!!! I can get them both ready by myself now, and we can go out!! We are still working on being in the same room together, but - its getting BETTER!! I am so happy - and so worn out... Quilting truly is keeping me sane haha!
PS - when comments come thru I have mostly had email addresses to reply - the past few days ( or a week) Everyone is coming thru as a no reply blogger... do you know what changed?

Your back yard view is heaven! The doggies are both so pretty. The quilt is stunning.
ReplyDeleteLove the QOV, those blocks are really striking and work so well with the panel. Very cute doggies. I'm jealous you got snow, but just a little. I posted a question to the Blogger technical support page. The only response I've gotten is that Blogger has never included the email addresses in the comments sent to email, they have always shown up as no-reply. We all know that's not true, but that's all I've gotten to date.
ReplyDeleteAlycia the motorcycle veteran will love that quilt. I have used that panel at least 4 or 5 times. I haven’t been able to find it in the quilt shops any longer. So glad your fur babies are getting along better.
ReplyDeleteThe QOV will be just the ticket (to use an old phrase) for the biking veteran! Love the dog photos. Still warm temps here.
ReplyDeleteThe motorcycle panel quilt is fantastic!!!! I'm glad the dog are progressively getting along better. Maybe that is what some politicians need>! lol
ReplyDeleteThat is a stunning quilt. <3 And, YES! Blogger has changed something on the comments and I cannot reply via emails. Frustrating...
ReplyDeleteLove your QOV. . .it is stunning!!!!! Kudos to the dogs learning that you are the ALPHA and that they will walk together. As for blogger. . .I have no clue!
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful QOV and fun puppy pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt for a biking vet. He will love it for sure. Dogs need time to adjust just like people do (ok similarly how people need). Blogger evidently don’t know what it does. Did you update your operating system recently? What I do if I don’t get the comments emailed to me Iis go to my blog and click on each commenter’s name. It takes me to their blog’s profile page. On the left side it gives their name and an email I can mail my response to them. It is a little clunky but it does work. Hope this helps.
ReplyDeleteWe’ll bummer. Just noticed I’m listed as anonymous. Bonnie in Va. Brsinstitches @ Gmail . Com.
ReplyDeleteI really love that QOV, and showed it to a couple of our group members yesterday while we were together. We have a few of those blocks and this is a great way to use them. Your fur babies are sure cuties!!
ReplyDeleteLove that quote. Heard about the snow (nephew lives in So CO). How about you send some over here to KS?? I might get shot asking for it but I do love me some snow and we've seen so little of it over the last years! I think it would really boost the holiday mood. It still feels like September or October around here and we're still leaving our windows cracked at night! Crazy.
