The blocks are growing!!
I figured I have enough to make 90 blocks - so if I set them 5 x 6 - that would be 30 blocks
therefore 3 quilts.
The would be 45 x 54 ish each - that's a good lap size quilt right?
this block is turning out to be a great leader ender project... super simple!!

Love your color palette!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great project to use up fabrics in my scrap bins! It's really pretty.
ReplyDeleteSuper project. I like that you are using one solid "brick" fabric with squares. Excellent plan. And, yes 45 x 54 is a good size quilt.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful coloration!
ReplyDeleteI love that you can turn all the blocks into 3 quilts, that's awesome!
ReplyDeleteHi Alycia! You are rocking this layout. You've got it going on so why not continue?! I love a good leader/ender project. It almost works on itself with no thought by me. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteAll the quilts for kids I make fit into this size because the fleece backings are 50 x 60. So I get 120" batting ; subcut 50 inches and each cut makes 2 kiddo quilts. This is a nice size, maybe too big for baby blanket.
ReplyDeleteYou get such a cool look from such a simple block. Looks like a great scrap buster too! Win/win definitely.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty--I like the light turquoise pops that you have included!
ReplyDeleteThose are such pretty blues and greens together! I like your lightning streak design!
ReplyDeleteVery effective, but simple, just what I like!
ReplyDeleteScrumptious. Love the rail fence feeling of the navy fabric.
ReplyDeletewhoo! whoo! Love your streak of lightening in greens and blues!
ReplyDeleteLove the greens and blues lightening streak quilt! I think 45 x 54 is a good lap size. It's great to be able to make three quilts from those blocks! Thanks for sharing with Monday Musings!
ReplyDeleteKudos on making enough GREEN blocks for THREE quilts, Alycia!!
