For my Next Pile of Fabrics: Kind of like for the Next Trick up my sleeve....
I found a pile of Pinks and Creams.
I wanted something that would go together fast, and make use of the fact that most of These were Width of Fabrics cuts, just not large cuts.
I have a lot of the Atkinson Design patterns and this book fell off my pile:
And there you go - One more Pile is Busted!!!
And as little side project - my QOV group is making these Framed 9 Patches : Pattern here: https://maryquilts.com/framed-9-patch/
For our January/February block - and I got a few knocked out!!

Always a sweet ride to just see what we can make! I like the pinks and creams--very calm.
ReplyDeleteSweet tops and some great blocks.
ReplyDeleteI like how you used those pinks and creams to make 2 quilts. Plus the little bonus one. Our QOV group was given some fabric and there were a couple of jelly rolls. We've been thinking of doing the Framed 9-patch blocks with the jelly rolls. Great minds do think alike!
ReplyDeleteTops number one and two make me think of Macaroons... Yummy! Congratulations on working through another pile. Looks great! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Sewing in 2023!
ReplyDeleteRaspberry Fizz is the perfect name for any of those 3 quilts. You've done a great job with them. I have lots of Atkinson design books but not that one. How big are the first two? You get gold stars for busting that pile of fabric!
ReplyDeleteGood for you to bust another pile of fabric, mine just seem to grow, LOL.
ReplyDeleteI love that Happy Hour book--so many great scrappy quilt designs! Another scrappy finish for 2023!!! You're on a great scrap roll!!!
ReplyDeleteRaspberry Fizz is the perfect name for these quilts! Love them!! I love pink and cream together! Thanks so much for linking up with Monday Musings!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun quilts! You are so quick at making them too (or do you secretly have extra hours in your day compared with the rest of us?)
ReplyDeleteCute scrap busting! Seems odd to come here and not see r/w/b! LOL Still working slowly on the last one.
ReplyDeleteGood for you getting all of those tops done and dusting off a pile of fabric! I am really starting to appreciate those "take a few, make it quick" kind of patterns. I discovered one over the holidays on YouTube that uses Fat Quarters and I think it's going to be my new go-to for quick to make (and/or gift) quilts!
ReplyDeleteI kept seeing your post featured on other blogs and somehow missed it. LOVE the colors and the name!
