An overload of Steppers

I am starting to think I have a problem... or maybe an addiction or maybe... I just can't stop myself from cutting up 3 1/2 inch strips... and turning them into Stepper quilts....

I give myself to the end of the year - then I may ask you to stage an intervention....

When I was cutting up my blues for the Blue Plaid Quilts ( One here ) and ( One here) I also found Reds - and because I wanted to empty the bag - I cut them too.....

And now:

I have three MORE in progress

One - Is a top already:

Two is Rowed already.... so you know that top is coming soon:

And three... its on the design wall - and needed some leftover blocks added to it....

It's an addiction... like chips... you can't have just one....

help.......

  1. It is a wonderfully fast and easy pattern. Thank you. So far I have only sewn one and cut another.

  2. But it's such a quick pattern, with striking results. I haven't done a rail fence in several years and maybe it's time to make one again.

  4. Haha, I've been having the same problem, but with a different pattern. I keep making Broken Brick quilts; I've made 4 or 5 so far. I like your idea of giving yourself until the end of the year to keep making them.

  5. You aren't addicted -- you just have a ton of plaids and this design is a great way to use them. Keep going. You are just making room for more fabrics! One of these days I'm going to try this one. Of course, I'll find 10 more quilts I want to make just from this week's internet browsing.

  6. So delicious though!
If an intervention is needed, I'm your girl!
Just to be clear, I will be the interventionist, not the victim!
