Two of the Chandelier quilts my sewing group was working on are now finished!!!
We all made the blocks
On one of them most of the rows were sewn
I finished putting the tops together
I quilted them
and then! I threw myself on the group - and they bound them!!! 😂🤣
Number one - Caught the Wind!!
I have a few more to put together - but... they will be a little time in getting done... I have a few memory quilts to make for a friend ;-)
Oh and! I was so proud of myself - I told my husband I had every client quilt due in June done and delivered... and he said... that's good, July starts Friday.... Ha ha!!! Time just marches on!
Love this quilt and such an easy pattern for beginners at our QOV sew sessions. Can you give me a few details? Size of quilt and size of block? I can figure out the rest. Thank you!! The quilting designs are great too!!!
ReplyDeleteThe two Chandelier QOV quilts look wonderful. I like that they each have wonderful quilting motifs but that they are different from one another.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Our local QOV group is making these same blocks for our next quilt. I'm actually hoping we collect enough from the group to make 2 quilts, but we'll see.
ReplyDeleteTime does march on but you have a few days "off"! I really have to make a couple of these chandelier quilts for veterans quilts. I really love them.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful Alycia and I like the stars you quilted.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely design. You and your ladies made a great job, someone will be happy. warm and honoured to own them.
ReplyDeleteWonderful job on the quilting.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt! Yay for friends who like to bind! Thanks for the dose of reality there, DH! lol
ReplyDeletePat yourself on the back for being done with days to spare;)
ReplyDeleteI started my first chandelier quilt on Monday. You are right - easy and fun. Instant gratification!
ReplyDeleteLong may they wave!
ReplyDeleteI too have a 6/30 deadline, and I'm not finished yet.
Hooray for QOV!
