  2. Cute fabrics! For the gold yarn, you definitely want blue stripes, I think. Or go wild and go for lime green. You'd definitely find them in the snow!

  3. How about a strip of blue yarn for the Ukrainian flag? I just started a blue/yellow quilt. I've always wanted to but now seems as good a time as any!

  9. So in love with your bee fabrics. Gorgeous! I've always loved yellow and grey. Maize is a great colour as it is my kitchen's colour. Enjoy! ;^)

  11. Hi,
I like your fabrics and yarn. Off the top of my head...I'd use a light blue fabric with this...you could make cats and use the yarn for the whiskers. Or dogs would work...they could be standing in a field of flowers with the bee fabric as a border. Have a great day

  14. Being a Michigan State grad, "maize" is a dirty word around here (University of Michigan - our arch nemesis) has school colors of maize and blue. So I'm just gonna weigh in here and say "anything but blue"! (Though they do look good together...) And those bee fabrics are absolutely adorable!

  16. Have fun with those YELLOW scraps and that GOLD yarn, Alycia!! The yarn will look good paired with any number of colors. I'm thinking I would start with a deep dark red or a blue heading toward indigo.

  18. For yarn, the short list: no pink. Everything else would look great.

Bees and bee hives -- that's you!
