I buckled down, I stayed up late, I gave up caffeine. ( I feel like this may be two truths and a lie!... guess which it is??)
and I got my 2021 RSC Quilt DONE!! Bound and Everything!!! DONE!! Finished!!!
And So!!! I did!!
This one just makes me happy - Its so bright - and against our brown fields
( No moisture to speak of for a REALLY long time - 235 days I think in Denver)
the colors pop!
And of course!!! I used Flannel for the backing - It kinda looked Batiky - so I liked it!!
And it is warm and snuggly!!!!
And! I Did a blog post every day this week... I am not sure about 31 whole days tho - I'm kinda boring...

I've enjoyed reading your posts every day this week. Hope you find some time for stitching!
ReplyDeleteWell, isn't that fun, colorful and fancy!
ReplyDeleteAnd my fav appetizer is any that is served to me! I have to say a few weeks ago my brother-in-law made some onion rings wrapped in applewood smoked bacon brushed with BBQ sauce that were absolutely delicious! But I'll eat anything wrapped in bacon!
Congrats on your finish, it was so worth staying up late to finish it. I think you needed caffeine in order to do that!!
ReplyDeleteThat is an impressive finish! Love the colors and the pineapple quilting, and yes that flannel does look batik-y!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite appetizer - gosh I have so many! I'd have to say the ubiquitous sausage cheese dip is my all-time favorite. Anything hot and cheesy is good as long as I have chips to dip in it!
I love this quilt!
ReplyDeleteAlycia, this is absolutely GORGEOUS! Doesn't it feel great to get an RSC all done? I have one of my three left to do before Dec. 31!
ReplyDeleteFabulous rainbow blossom quilt finish. I enjoyed reading about your adventures and seeing the photos from the east coast. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLook at you, brightening up the place. Congratulations on such a bright happy finish!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is beautiful, Alycia and makes me smile with such bright cheerful colors. Love the quilting . Thank you for hosting the link party . Happy quilting.
ReplyDeleteIt looks fantastic! Sorry for the drought--you could use lots of snow to help with that!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! It's beautiful. I love the pattern you used for RSC.
ReplyDeleteIt's so bright and happy and I love that you quilted pineapples on it as well! Hooray for the full finish, binding and all. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Alycia, congrats on your finish - quilted pineapples, Awesome!!! I could never post every day - my life and my quilting is just not that interesting or prolific! I am doing the #100days challenge on Instagram - I'm at day 65 I think but it's been way longer than that...I post every few days. Favourite appetizer - well it's not my favourite but everyone else likes them - bean bundles made from mashed up can beans, BBQ sauce and Worcestershire sauce, then hot dogs rolled up in Pillsbury crescent rolls. I just made a batch :-) Hubby ate half already!
ReplyDeleteI love it!! Especially the quilting!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous RSC quilt finish, Alycia!!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, wow, WOW!! AMAZEBALLS!
ReplyDeleteThat's a really fun quilt. Congrats on getting it done before the end of the year!!
ReplyDeleteThis is SO friggin' beautiful! And the quilted pineapples... Adorable! Hope you got more snow than we did!
ReplyDeleteCheerful and snuggly are just what a day like today -- wet and gray -- needs. I can smell the pineapples from here.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful and done and snuggly! Who could ask for anything more?
ReplyDeleteThat is a beauty! Great job!
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt! I'm a big Bonnie fan as well and love working with scraps too!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on a beautiful and happy quilt. Love also the quilting. Well done, Alycia!
ReplyDeleteYour RSC quilt looks great! Congrats on your finish and thank you for linking up with me for TGIFF!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on this wonderful finish! It's a great RSC idea and the colour work is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing. So bright and vibrant.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Congrats on the fantastic finish.
ReplyDeleteLovely! Great bright colors. Your Boston trip looked like fun. I've never been to Boston. My puppies don't like things on their heads or feet, but I did have to make fleece booties for one, shortly before she died. Can you tell that I'm reading blog posts backwards (newest to oldest) trying to get caught up. Happy New Year! Glad you stayed safe from the fires. If you find out how we can help those poor people who lost everything, please let us know. I have a couple of quilts that I could mail, but I'd have to know where to mail them.
