I know some of these pastures are communal pastures, so in the fall you round up your cattle to the pens, and haul them back to your pastures. This loading dock caught my eye
Pretty enjoyable drive - and! I even got Ice Cream!
So communal pastures are fenced and anyone can use them? I know there are areas where cattle free range (I think) and have often wondered how far and wide one might hafta look to find their cows. LOL Nice photos; old barns (especially falling down ones) make the best pix!!

ReplyDeleteOh, well ice cream! That would make the whole thing worth it IMO. I LOVE your scenery, I would never tire of it. That first shot is exactly the type of area I fantasize about, and a nice cumulus in the background. ;)
