I got on a roll with binding.... or maybe I just rolled the binding???
Anyways - my May RED Placemats are now all complete - finished, and in the pile!!
Many of you are asking how many I have made so far - I have 54 - and only....
The purple need to be bound - Oh ya!!!
July is my break month of making placemats so I can catch up on some other things.....
Without further ado.....
RED!!!!
I am kinda proud of myself - I am such a procrastinator when it comes to binding - I am surprised I am only a month behind now! And all of you who love binding??? The rooms are ready... Bring your machine!!!!!
Ha! You've done a great job on both the sewing and the binding of all of your placemats! Inspiring!
ReplyDelete54!!! That's a lot of used up scraps for a great cause!!! Sorry but I hate binding; no help from me!!!
ReplyDeleteI have not joined in with RSC this year, but enjoying watching everyone else.
ReplyDeleteYou have been amazingly productive. What will you do with all of your placemats?
Well done Alycia.
ReplyDeletePretty red placemats.
On my way! LOL. I haven't kept up with the placemat making, too many other projects taking my attention.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you do with all those placemats?
ReplyDeleteI love perusing your designs! I think they are just wonderful! DH has nixed placemats on our table this year! Don’t know what’s got into him? He says it looks messy! (not as messy as without, in my opinion), but I keep the peace, so no placemats for him, just me! I still think they are great to have!
ReplyDeleteYeah for more finishes! Do you hand stitch your bindings to the back or do you machine stitch them down?
ReplyDeleteYou should be proud of yourself! Sorry, I don't love binding so don't keep a seat warm for me. BUT I force myself to bind right after I finish the quilting so I don't get a binding pile. I don't need another pile of any kind!
ReplyDeleteWow, more binding! I think you'll get to that quilt binding before 3006 ;)
