Happy Friday!!
I just made this one under the wire... hence.... the photo of this quilt top... in the KITCHEN!!!
its the only place in the house with a lot of light so late in the evening!!!
Ta-Da!!!
So - borders.... I had such a hard time thinking what I wanted to do,
and I finally just decided to use this beautiful Eagle fabric... and call it good.
Full Disclosure, I do have another one cut out, so maybe I can start thinking of great ideas for borders for it, and really follow through - but I do like how this one turned out!
Now it is time for you to shine!

Good morning, Alycia! YAY to a Friday finish. Each time I see this quilt it makes me want to make one myself. I just LOVE some of the fabrics you used that make the blocks look so striking to me. Like the third block from the left on the top row - how cool does that look?!!! You deserve to enjoy a fabulously nice weekend, and I hope you do. ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeletethat is a wonderful quilt
ReplyDeleteThe quilt top is great!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the finish!
ReplyDeleteI solve the what-to-add-for-borders dilemma by eliminating them all together most of the time. No thinking involved! Besides I think I would rather make 100s more blocks than add a border.
Excellent finish, Alicia! This really came together nicely.
ReplyDeleteOh I love it! A must do!
ReplyDeleteThe eagle print border is a nice frame to all the detail piecing in the center!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great with the eagle border!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. I love the blocks.
ReplyDeleteI applaud your patience! Congratulations on the finish!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great, Alycia! More rounds of narrower strips than other keys--gives it a lot of visual interest!
ReplyDeleteP.S. The quilt on the left in your blog header -- might those be some of the Ohio Stars I sent you a couple of years ago?
Congrats on your finished top! It looks fantastic and the border complements the blocks perfectly!
ReplyDeleteYour Greek Key is wonderful! Thank you for the linky party.
ReplyDeleteYou did a really good job on this quilt top--it is a very good expression of a very ancient symbol!
ReplyDeleteHi Alycia, Your Greek Key quilt looks great and the border really goes well with it. Congrats on your top finish! Take care.
