BLOCK TWO
For Block One - I used two colors only, so I decided to go a little scrappier this time and just use what ever Blues with Cream that I pulled out.
Hindsight - I probably should have chosen better - the secondary pattern gets lost in the scrappy.
and maybe - if I had used three colors - I could have seen an inner pattern emerge?
BUT!! I Still like it!!
Again - I used 5 inch squares on my block
I used 8 Five Inch Cream squares and 8 Five inch Blue squares to make my 16 Half Squares.
and Ta - Da - Block TWO is finished!!

Yes the colors blend a bit but it's still nice.
ReplyDeleteI like this one, too -- but I think I would go a bit less scrappy for mine so the pinwheel in the center is stronger. Adding this to my HST collection.
