We got some great moisture, awful winds and... the road was closed!
All my family was home, we are all safe and sound.....
but...... they should not give me 48 hours of unsupervised stitching .......
Just sayin'
Before the wind really started ( and I worried about the power going out)
I quilted this Quilt of Valor
and then!!
I topped this quilt
and!
I made a backing for it
and then!! I decided to start a new project -
the pattern is called Merry Go Round by American Jane Patterns
and now I have more scraps to decide what to do with
and then I decided I should top this Quilt of Valor - and I made a backing for it!!
And then!! I finished my Marvelous Mystery Top - and I made a backing for it!!
PS - you can find all the clues for this awesome Mystery that Linda Swanekamp designed right HERE ON THIS BLOG!!!! Isn't that cool - Its called the L1 Marvelous Mystery
and now...
I started a new project.....
I have a problem ...
can you tell???
Ha ha ha

ReplyDeleteYou did ALL THAT in 48 hours?!?! Good grief! Did you even sleep???
ReplyDeleteYou sure have been busy and must feel good to have accomplished so much wonderful quiltiness.
ReplyDeleteI just read your post today and now I am ready for a nap! Amazing!! The plaid QOV turned out wonderfully after many eye rolls for using plaids. You are brave and it worked out great! Sew on!!
ReplyDeleteYup....you were definitely busy! I’m glad the storm didn’t materialize as the weather man predicted in our area. Yes we got snow, but not the amounts nor the wind. All good
ReplyDeleteYou have to take advantage of the time when it comes up! It never happens often enough. You managed you time perfectly and the progress...holy cow!
ReplyDeleteImpressive! Sounds like while the blizzard was churning outside, you were stitching up a fabric blizzard of your own!
ReplyDeleteGet a little brrr under your saddle blanket, and there's no keepin' you in the barn!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd some days I think I get a lot done, but you just put me to shame, LOL Nice going girl!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely amazing! We live in Littleton and were really happy that it was not bad from that last one! I love how you used plaids!
ReplyDeleteWhat a productive time period! I love all the projects! Starting something new is always fun too! I have been such a slacker lately! I finished 8 shop samples for a friend, so now back to my projects.
