Flags for Sue progress

Good Morning! We are all getting a late start here .... and it feels really really weird.....

I wanted to give you an update on our Flags for Sue progress - and I thought I had all the envelopes photographed - and then more came in  ( ya Happy Dancing here)   So this is a preliminary report.... and I will be back tomorrow with more.....

But CHECK THIS OUT!!!

PS - that graphic says 84!!

Check out that really scrappy one - bottom left corner!! LOVE that idea!!

He had to do two photos to get them all!!

She sent a WHOLE finished one
( well I am using 12 flags per quilt - but I like this one!)

Number 6 top is done
( those little white parts?? All Fixed... I shouldn't sew in the dark!)

So as of last post we had
385 blocks

With these added in ( Including the blocks in Liz's finished quilt)

We are now at 647 blocks!!!

Subtracting Liz's Finished Quilt

we have enough to make 52 Quilts!!!

And I have 6 topped - Wow!
It's going to be great!!!

I am hoping to be back tomorrow with the contents of the rest of the packages - as I don't want anyone worrying that they got lost.

But It may be Sunday....

  4. I am in awe here of your efforts......as usual.....but, how wonderful for the quilting community to honor Sue, and continue her efforts with QOV. Not to mention, these quilts are super patriotic and cool! Good work my friend!
