and again - I might have taken a million photos
But I will start with these - because you need to drink this in....
and know that it was SO quiet your ears were searching for noise
and it was SO peaceful you wanted to tippy toe to not scare anything
And those mountains in the distance?
we hiked until we were even with them
it was AWESOME

ReplyDeleteAhhhhhhhhhh...I can smell the special smells of autumn when I look at your pictures. The mountains are calling and I must go!!!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures remind me how much I missing living in Colorado. My favorite is the yellow leaves in the foreground with mountains in the background. I just hear the silence (if that makes sense). Sandy at sewhigh.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteHi Alycia, those a great photos - I can feel the stillness from here :-)
ReplyDeleteI went up to the mountains this past week also. A herd of elk entertained us on the deck of the motel that my family was staying at. And the mountain views, NEVER GET OLD!
