Once upon a time Rolland watched his wife cut, sew and make beautiful quilts, and he wanted to have as much fun as she did.... and he may have wanted some counter space back as well ( just kidding) so he made his own Quilt of Valor top!!! It was quilted by Kim and bound be her and will be so loved by a Veteran touched by war!!
PS - he made more!
Charlene is one of the Quilters in our QOV Colorado Group and she followed along with the mystery called THE Patriot ( still free in my Etsy store on here on the blog) I quilted it for her - because - you know - I had to! ( ha ha)
As a part of our Sew days Members are taking over and choosing blocks for us to make
Connie and Kathy chose this star block and we made a million
( okay maybe just a lot)
This is one of the first quilts they put together with the stars!
And then there is me -
I had a huge pile of scraps and I made my son start cutting
He needed community service hours anyways - its not like i *forced* him into it
this is what we came up with
and I quilted it
Vickie B - Who thinks that I am trouble with a capitol T
made this lovely quilt!
I sent it off to be quilted by Lori
Aren't these all fun quilts?
I love seeing all the variety!
