A Glimpse into my world

aka  this is why I don't finish things.....

you all understand , Right?

I told myself - I will finish my KTQ mystery before I start anything else/.....

well - I will use my Wonky Star blocks as the leader/Enders and piece a QOV at the same time.....

well  - Blue is the RSC color.... I'll just pop those blocks up and see where I am....

and now!!

This!

See the Wonky Stars are growing...
and see them peeking out behind my RSC project

and see my pile that needs to be ironed?

and see my pile to be stitched?

This!!
This people is why I pull my hair out

Ha ha ha

Oh ya - and My On Ringo Lake is mixed in there too

That is all

  3. Hubby calls this 'Squirrel' moments. Our whole family has them. At least you didn't get bored.

  6. Always good to have several projects going at once, that way you never get bored with one! Looks like you're making great progress on all of them.

  7. Sometimes it's just hard to stop the creative juices from slowing and we end up with piles of various blocks. They are all beautiful projects! Happy sewing.

  8. Hi Alycia,
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I absolutely get it. I have black thread in, so I might as well just sew this quick. Or I have my walking foot on, so I should just quilt this quick. I have to go iron, so I should sew this first and then iron. Oh yeah, I am so easily distracted. ADHD or whatever you want to call it - there has to be a sewing/quilting acronym that fits better. I just love the wonky stars!! ~smile~ Roseanne

  10. Thank you for making me feel good! Ha! I spent some time organizing my sewing space over New Year's but that only means everything is put up and it's hard to sew when everything's put up! I was just invited to an all day sew day this Saturday (12 hours) and so the question becomes what to take? A completely new project (fabrics are cut but no sewing - deadline is in 6 months) or just take the trash can full of uncut scraps and make scrap vortex blocks all day until the can is empty or at least decent. Maybe a combo of both? Decisions decisions!

  12. You are SEW much further ahead than me on Kevin's Mystery!! I see TWO clues that I haven't gotten around to yet. Sigh...

  13. I think you win. I only hauled the garbage to the land fill and paid bills today. I might even get to water aerobics.

Good job. Keep dangling those challenges out there to keep up or one-up you.

  14. Your post made me smile! I so understand what's happening to you - a similar process happens here too! Is it catching like flu?

  15. Oh it looks a lot like my workspace.

  16. Progress is progress no matter how small. Our goal is to get Kevin's mystery done by the end of the month. There is plenty of time! Nobody said you can't work on anything else. After all we will need another goal to work on for February. Love the wonky stars!

  17. It's a lot, but that's what keeps things interesting and fun!

  18. :D So very real for many of us. When you make large quilts, you absolutely need more than one going or you get swamped with drudgery!
