Quilts of Valor Colorado 2017

Happy Wednesday Morning!!!

We are still recovering from bleacher backs! ha ha - Basketball games does that to you!!

Todays Quilt of Valor show is brought ot you by Nancy!  Nancy sets a goal each year, and she never disappoints me!!   Sit back and take a look at her creations!








I tell you what - isn't she talented???   I love all of them - but I have to be honest - the two in the very first picture?  I want to make ones like them!  I just love that diamond and those hexis -

Thanks Nancy!!!   Believe it or not - these are already in the hands of our Veterans Touched by War - they were LOVED!!!!

  5. Oh MY! She does create some absolute beauties!! So many different patterns in each quilt. That is one QOV-makin' machine!! YAY!

  9. Thanks for the Show!! I'm particularly interested in the 6th quilt - blue setting triangles, white squares, and "coins" made from scraps surrounding the white squares. We make QOV and have lots of scraps. Could you tell me the size of the white squares and the size of the coins?? The coins look like about 3" x 1.5 or 1". I can figure the rest out if I know those 2 sizes. Thanks so much.

  12. They are all beauties, and all so different. I know it's me but looking at the last one, how do you sew that together, it reminds me of the puzzle piece quilts. Do you know the name of that just wouls love to see broken down. I buy the patterns to see how they go together and then donate them because theya are not on my to do list! lol! Thanks for the quilty inspiration!
