Kevin always does them that way - I've only done 2 that way... but with his encouragement I'm doing it again!!
Here are my Fabric Choices!!!
The first clue doesn't come out till the day after Thanksgiving - so I have time to iron and pet and re fold and dream.....

I have used up a lot of scraps on this one - however.... I keep finding more scraps - HOW!! Does this happen? I swear I try to stay on top of them - but at least I can put them to good use!!!!

I am so happy to be playing along with you in patriotic colors this year with Bonnie's Mystery! This is going to be so fun!
ReplyDeleteI love watching everyone's progress with Mystery Quilts! Love your colour choice!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love Bonnie's mystery quilts, but I have NO fabrics in these colors and am not so sure about substituting. I haven't finished last year's because the colors I chose didn't jive just right. I look forward to seeing yours! Thanks for linking to Finished or Not Friday!
ReplyDeleteBonnie's mysteries are such fun. I did last year's in patriotic colors and am considering doing that again this year. I have lots of blue in the stash. Not much red, but I have a month to play with the color palette. Looking forward to seeing yours and Kevin's during the quilt along.
ReplyDeleteGood choices for the Bonnie mystery. Might want to go a little lighter on the neutrals (grays look a little dark in the photo).
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the quilting mantra: It's your quilt, make it any way you want.
My friend suggested autumn colors for the mystery, but I may have better luck making mine Patriotic, too. Great suggestion!!
