I have dug out all the Red 30's prints and they are all trimmed up to 2 1/2 inches!!! I am ready to sit and do some stitching..... Which will have to wait just a bit - but I am ready!
I did make the executive decision to not include the Christmas 30's prints. So I will have to come up with something for those - but, well, they didn't mix well with these.
My dog and I took a walk and when we came back she was on high alert
"Look Momma, those big dogs got out.... More are coming Momma!
I'll protect you"
She loves me that way
This guy was my riding buddy
I laughed because
I haven't mastered the art of sitting on a moving animal
while shooting a moving animal

Lovely photos, as always! Good luck making time for those RED scraps that are waiting for your attention.
ReplyDeleteLots of people seem to be having trouble getting their reds to play nicely together. Glad you found a solution though. Looks like you are ready to sew.
ReplyDeleteYour pile of reds looks like it will mix up very well. I haven't yet done my balloon blocks but I still have another week. Will look forward to seeing yours then. The eagle shot is great! By the way, what is a row by row? I have been seeing referrals to it lately. Does it have to do with quilt shops?
ReplyDeleteFun reds - great eagle photo!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of the eagle!
ReplyDeleteI think I need to come out for another ride! If not that, I will just sit outside with the guard dog! LOL
ReplyDeleteYou pulled some pretty reds for this week.
ReplyDeleteWhat great photo's! Hmmm I have a little bucket of 30's prints.... might have to pull some out to play. Thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. Beautiful red prints.
ReplyDeleteSometimes the hardest part of a project is just getting started! Now that your fabrics are ready you can really have some fun. :-)
