QOV 2015 - July show #1

HAPPY July!!!

Can you believe that it is already July?  I just feel like I got in to the rhythm of summer .... sort of....

The final Layout of Starry Night for Josh was posted on Monday. I hope you enjoyed it!

And now on to The Quilt of Valor Inspiration for today!!

There is a QOV group out of Canon City CO - called the Fremont Victory Quilters.

I can not stress enough how fantabulous they are!!

In May alone we needed 96 Quilts to fill our needs

And HOLY Buckets did they dig in and QUILT!!

And not only that!!   They went out of their way to get them to the Veterans!!

Aren't their Quilts awesome?
Cathy and Jewel head the group up - but all the Quilters need a round of applause!

The Next Two quilts are from the Bee Sew Brave Bee in Longmont - Gina and PJ are the fearless contact for me there! And PJ - goodness - she made sure I got these - even through my ditsy-ness ( I blame the weather)

I really like how the stars just add to the coolness of these Quilts!!

And the last one for today's show comes from Gina
Check out that awesome border!!

Hope you enjoy seeing these Great Quilts of Valor
In honor of it being July.... Come back tomorrow -
there will be ANOTHER QOV show!!!

Those are great looking quilts! I want to make one for my brother I really like the 1st one pictured - is that a disappearing 9 patch?

  5. I can't believe it is July either, I have not accomplished as much summer quilting as I planned and soon I will need to start getting ready to teach another year.
