Design Wall Monday - Scrappy Edition

Sunday found us ... At Home!!.... Sort of... Wrangler Man had ranchy stuff to do, and he agreed that he could do it without me!!  SO!!  I started in on the laundry, the dinner in the crockpot, the boys' to-do list....and I settled in to sew...

I SO needed that! I left the computer off ( almost) and had so much fun.  But then I had a problem!  I needed my Design Wall - for the new project that I started.

When I looked at my design wall... there was already something on it!  Do you ever have that problem?

In between working on the four ( yes quilters, I had BIG plans) projects that needed some attention - I decided to work on the design wall as well....

So - here is where the design wall ended up at 9pm. yep - I stayed up late - a whopping 9pm... in my defense - I had to be up early even though I didn't have to go do the ranchy stuff . My dog... she is an early riser - and she needs me ;-)

I also thought it was about time to get some of my photos ready for the scrap book. I have a new goal this year, to actually get a 2014 Album done. I am caught up to May... Not bad for a beginner lol

And here is my baby at his pig show.  He did such a great job!

Enjoy!!

  1. We creative people need lots of space to view what we have envisioned! Sounds like a great Sunday to me!

  2. Your baby has a very responsible look about him. I guess raising a pig will do that.
Thanks for sharing the picture... it gave me a grandmotherly smile of pride.

  3. Looks like the start of something fun.

Good luck with your photo album, I promise myself every year that I'm going to do that and never make any progress!

  5. I go to bed at 9pm all the time (but small kids get me up very early). Looks like the starting of something good on your design wall :-)

  7. The blocks on your design wall are super interesting. I can't wait to see how they turn out. And as far as a scrapbook, are you planning a traditional or a digital one? I've gone digital and gotten them printed because it saves so much time.
