Quilts of Valor 7/9

Good Wednesday Morning!!  Hope you are all ready for your Quilty Inspirations!!!

Before the Summer started I spoke at the Interfaith Quilters of Longmont. I have shown you some of the quilts that they had ready for us.... And here are some more!!   This is such a great group.

This quilt is called a
Touch of Green

This one is called
Patriotic Tumblers

This one is called
Lucky Stars
( this is a pattern from Atkinson designs... I have it lol)

This one is called
Army Strong

This one was called
Stars

This one is called
Stars in the Cabin
( there are stars in the red fabric- it's cool)

This one is called
Shooting Stars

This one is called
Log Cabin
Many thanks to the Interfaith Quilters for taking on Quilts of Valor this year. They make many quilts, and raise money for their churches - so I feel tickled that they took on QOV for this year!

SMILES!!!

This quilt was pieced by Elaine and Quilted by Lois K of Erie. Lois is a phenomenal quilter and it is fun to see what she does!!

This quilt was pieced by Ann R's Mom in Michigan ( Right Ann - or did I make that up?)  and it was quilted by Ann in Colorado. Ann has a new distraction in the form of an adorable Grandchild.... too much fun!!

This one is pieced of our Big Blowout Block Drive blocks, by Bonita and Teresa. It was quilted by Ann R as well.

This top was pieced by Miracles and quilted by Deb in Colorado.
Hope you enjoyed today's Quilt of Valor show... BE sure to come back tomorrow to see some of the Finished Allegiance Tops... and if you have a photo of the one you are working on - snap it and email it to me - preferably before 10pm wed night....

  1. Great show today, Alycia. The best pic is the one of the soldiers' smile.
