i finished the top!!!

Whoot Whoot!!! THIS. may be the fastest finish EVER! for me !!

I am thinking it is because it is cold in the basement, and I can only stand to work down there for so long. My dear sweet husband even turns the heat up in the morning for me.... and I am a wimp!

Here is the top!!  AND - I made the backing for it!! AND!!  Are you sitting down for this one?

I made The Binding....

Yes - yes I did!!! AND!!  I even have it pinned and ready to load on my Long Arm.... as soon as I finish the quilt that is on there!!.... Gasp... I may have it done before 2015.....can you imagine lol

Since I forgot to take pictures of the back and the binding - I will leave you with the ones I did take!
I feel like they are watching something.... like my every move.. and wondering when I will bring the hay truck to them.... what do you think?

This guy has perched himself on my power-pole. I don't believe it is Fred - he is too small. And Wilma was taller - so I think  he is new. He was a little nervous about his position until he realized he was on the tallest spot - then he relaxed...

I am Linking up with Crazymom Quilts and Confessiona of a fabric addict!  and Richard Quilts! Enjoy!!

The quilt top looks great! I agree with your son's comment that it looks like a cover for a book. It does....for a quilt book! Your horses are gorgeous.

  5. (I've been following for a while now, and this is the first pink quilt I've seen. Have you ever made a pink one before?) It's very pretty.

  9. It's such a pretty quilt as it is, but you have lots of space to add some gorgeous quilting to make it even more gorgeous.
