This month seems to have gone by awful fast.... I am not sure how that happened....
These are two Quilts of Valor that I got quilted this month.
This first one was pieced by Laura R . I grew up right next door to her. She was amazing then and is amazing now! I love her!! She is a prolific quilter.
I believe this is the Avignon Park From Moda Bake Shop. I really like how it turned out!
This quilt top was pieced by Ethel in Greeley.
She did a fabulous job!
I did a different quilting design in each color.
It was fun to make them all work together.
I am linking up with Confessions of a Fabric Addict , CrazyMomQuilts, and Richard Quilts.
Enjoy seeing all the finishes!
They are great! You do such a good job finishing them up! How awesome of you al to devote some of your time for these quilts.
ReplyDeleteI love these quilts, someone is going to be very blessed to get them!
ReplyDeleteYour quilting is beautiful, and this is such a great cause.
ReplyDeleteThey are both special, but I just LOVE the first one! so fresh looking and not overpowering with reds and blues.
ReplyDeleteBoth beauties! Love the patterns. I'm off to Moda Bake Shop to investigate.

Oh my. I started a RWB Quilt of Valor in that same pattern, Avignon Picnic, back when it first showed up on Moda Bake Shop. That was May 2010. Yep, another UFO that was forgotten about until I see this picture. It looks fabulous, and I MUST pull it out from wherever it is and finish it now!
ReplyDeleteAvignon Park is such a great pattern. So fun!
ReplyDeleteBoth are awesome designs, and look great with a patriotic color scheme for QOV! Awesome quilting as usual!
ReplyDeleteGreat work! I love the fabric choices!
ReplyDeleteI have always enjoyed reading quilting blogs. Little did I ever imagine I would see a blog written by someone from the Greeley area. It is a pleasure to have found you.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the finishes. They are beautiful quilts.
