Plaid String Blocks .... on the wall....

Plaid Quilt number two is getting closer to being done..... All the blocks are now finished....

I took the picture with my phone, and now I see its a tad blurry on the bottom.... plus it doesn't quite fit on the wall....

We had the challenge from Heartstrings to use a brown center.... so that was my starting point ;-)  I think a Veteran will like it.... I hope ;-)

Linking up with http://www.patchworktimes.com  for design wall Monday!

  7. What a great quilt for a veteran! I really like your layout, too. I have not seen string blocks placed in that design. Nicely done!

Whoever receives this quilt will be getting a beautiful, abstract piece of art! Love, love it!

  11. Your quilt is great! I've never seen the layout you used with two different centers. It's very dynamic. How's your plaid supply holding out?

I'm impressed that you only one bucket of scraps. I have soooo many scraps. I can't wait to get them cut down. I should just flip a coin every morning to decide whether I will quilt or cut!

  12. Love the layout (always love the unusual ones), but my brain kept wanting to put one more 'square' in the lower left corner! LOL
