The best laid plans....right? I only had three things on my February List and they really didn't sound too hard....but they must have been!!
Oh well -
here is what I finished this week... ( or maybe it was last week - I am still in travel mode)
I have my Flying Vortex quilt 2/3'rds of the way bound! Seriously - who does something only 2/3rds of the way? My bobbin ran out , I got up, and forgot to go back!!! So on my Feb. list - this is 2/3rds done!
This quilt was not on my February list. I should go back and add it now! I finally got it quilted, and now it is in the to be bound pile.... should be done by 2014 then right????
I do love string quilts. I liked trying to use only two colors. It is an interesting looking quilt!

You go girl!
ReplyDeleteAlycia, are you stitching the entire binding down at one time or did you stitch it to the quilt with a straight stitch and then go back to finish it with the zig zag stitch? Is it done from the front or the back? I need to learn this method as I hand stitch my binding to the back and it takes forever and a day!
ReplyDeleteI love your blue and yellow string quilt.
Love the blue and gold. Such a pretty quilt. It's a classic color combo.

The blue and yellow string quilt is very striking!
ReplyDeleteAt least you got something done, right? February is a short month; that's my excuse for not getting everything on my list accomplished. LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the string quilt, that gold is just the right accent with all those blues.
ReplyDeleteooo - the blue and gold strings are pretty. :) I just love how you "forgot to go back" - my kind of woman!
