Ta Da!!! Here they are!!! They were made by various individuals and groups - but all of them say Columbine Quilt guild.
As with all quilts - I am in Love with them. I got some great ideas for my scrap pieces....
I really was intrigued with this one ( above) the strings are cool and in a great placement.
Check out the quilting ( below)
Thank you to the Columbine Quilt Guild in Colorado
Oh Look!!
A Smile!!! Don't you just love it!!! I do!!!!
This next quilt was made by Sue S and quilted by Donna P ( LtC USAF ret)
of Colorado Springs
This one was handed off.... from someone... to Merrie... to Me... and there is no label. no note, no id... so... I made it in the middle of the night!! I am impressive right? Just kidding - I am thinking that it came from someone in my Denver group????
These Next Two quilts were made the Miracles group and Quilted by Sue S in Colorado.
They do such a great job, teaching ladies to make quilts... and I just love that they help our QUilts of Valor!!
The Very last one for today was made by Agnes in New Jersey and Quilted by Teneka in Co Spgs..... Her quilting doesn't show much on the front......
But check out this back!!! Click on the pic for better detail - it is amazing!!!
Hope you enjoyed today's show!!! Have a quilty day!!
Loved the show! I am inspired to go quilt! First day of Winter Break between semesters, so let the playing begin!
ReplyDeleteLove love love the string quilt. ANOTHER great idea. Each of them are very special. Thanks for sharing this show! Sharon L
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all the quilts that come to you. They are all so very special. It is so nice to know that there are so many people in the world willing to share their time and fabric to make a gift for someone they do not know. And not just at Christmastime but all year long.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great group a quilts. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt makes my day when I stop for coffee, check the mail and see a beautiful quilt show! Some of these quilts gave me wonderful ideas for using more scraps. I have been using them (scraps) all year and they still seem to multiply.
ReplyDeleteThank you and all the quilter & piecers who continue to support our military.
Fantastic show - I love the one with the red stars on the blue background.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful show and the best picture is the one with the smile! A friend was just telling me yesterday of a soldier receiving his quilt on the east coast...he refuses to use it as a quilt. He put is in a glass case and pinned his medals to it. Makes you feel good that they do appreciate them no matter how they use them. Lisa in Georgia
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt show! I love all of them, but I love the Star-String quilt! That might be what I do to use my strings.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with us!
