Another UFO Bites the dust

This is the March UFO was Number 8, and I totally missed it.... so now.... I caught it!!!

Of course it is totally out of season, but as we all know - binding takes me forever and a month.... so it will be ready to use in the correct season.... Halloween!!!

It's a jelly roll quilt, and I bought the border because I thought it looked cool.... and then a great blog reader told me it glowed in the dark....
and they were RIGHT!!!

Here's the back - Black and Orange with lots of swirls!!

Oh!! And Little Bit and I made a dog bed. It is Yellow polar fleece and stuffed with leftover battings. We took it to dog training . It will be sold as a fundraiser for our dog club.
Hope you all are having a great day!!!!

  2. Oh it's never too early to start sewing for any holiday! You don't want to know how many Christmas projects I have that aren't even close to needing binding!

    Love it!

  3. I love to stitch on binding - if we were closer, I would do it for you! I'm pulling reds and greens for a Christmas quilt...feel better? If we waited until the season to actually work on our projects, we would never get them done. Love your dog bed that y'all worked on together - I'm stuffing one too.

  7. What a FUN Halloween quilt! Great work! Glow-in-the-dark fabrics are so much fun. (I just used a couple of prints on some projects. I think the term "childish delight" might fit how I feel about them.)
