Design Wall ( floor) Monday and UFO #8

This month;s UFO number chosen was #8 - and my number 8 was a bunch of strips to be sewn into a top... and I did it!! I wanted to get it quilted too....but seeing as how the month is moving faster than expected.... its not happening!


This is called a Lasagna Quilt - from and Atkinson designs book called Spring Cleaning.

And of course - this will be a Quilt of Valor when its all ready to go.

    Yea - a flimsie finish. Finishes are always good. And there are a few more days till June is over!

    i've done so many lasagna quilts myself, mostly for donations, but they always come out great looking! love your quilt.

    I've never heard of "lasagna" quilts before, but now you've made me hungry for one! Congrats on your finish--hope you can get it quilted soon!

    me either! what's a lasagna quilt? where did you get the strips? did you cut them special, or have them in your stash? so many questions....

    Once I complete the top, I send it off to the quilter and it goes on her list then - LoL - so for me it is complete. Wonderful "finish." Judy C in NC
