My customer loved the quilting in the photo - and it really added to the quilt.

It was a really fun quilt to quilt, and it helped having a picture to follow.
And no - this quilt did not go to a soldier. It was Huge! And I think she might have made it for her daughter. I might have kept it if it was me.

Just wanted you to know, that I really do work too ( giggle - Dad... this proves it!!!)
Your feathers are to die for (even if they were patterned after Mary Nordeng's)! Great job on this quilt! I would have trouble giving it up also...LOL.
ReplyDeleteHope things are going well with you!

Beautiful quilting!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love the quilt pattern, but the quilting -- WOW! I want to be able to do feathers like that when I grow up!
ReplyDeleteAlycia, Fabulous quilting and beautiful quilt. Can you share the source of the pattern?

I just ran across your blog and the entry regarding the wedding quilt. You sell your talent short! Your feathers are beautiful! I am honored that you mentioned me. You did a fabulous job replicating the original designs. I always enjoy knowing that I was able to influence a fellow quilter. High praise indeed.
