It was a letter writing campaign! The sunday School kids graciously allowed me to come in and tell them about our No Soldier Forgotten project. It was cool - they ask some great questions. I wish I thought like that!!

I took in some quilts, and a pillowcase, and some pictures of making quilts and soldiers getting their quilts.

Then the kids all got busy and wrote letters and cards for the soldiers. I loved it!!!

The kid in the orange shirt at the top - he's mine. He and his little brother were my quilt holders.... Its tough to be them ( grin) . The guy with his head down in the bottom right pic ( blue striped shirt) thats my youngest.

I think I collected over 100 cards - perfect - I will get them put into some quilt cases and the soldiers will LOVE them!

Have a great day!
I think that is a wonderful idea. My daughter in stationed here in the states. She is in Maine and we are in Oregon, and she is homesick. I can't possible think what our sailors and soldiers feel. Keep up the good work.
