With the red, white and blue, everything goes together very well. I don't think I have any orphan blocks.....I will have to think about this. I sure have lots of UFOs, but when they are finished, there is not usually any blocks left over. You are fortunate that yours are all in one color scheme, as that makes it easier to combine them.
