Going back to 2018!! and!! Finished ( or not) Friday

Remember the big waggy tails that are  my puppies... this was another project unearthed by them...

and it is taking us back to 2018!! 2018 people!!

Its a scrappy Irish chain - the pattern was in a book by Melissa Corry

and it was my RSC project for 2018 - but!! I forgot about 3 colors.. so I spent a morning finishing those blocks and now: ( linking to: Rainbow scrap Challenge)

It is a top!! I had to finish the Pink, Red and Yellow, not sure how I got that far behind, but! I was -

This is the book it was in:
I don't seem to find it for sale anywhere.

But!! My top is done!! and now it goes to the *be quilted* pile.
A freind of mine challenged me to make a list of the To Be quilteds, and the need to finishes - but I am such a visual person, I decided a list would not help.

I have been taking photos and saving them in an album on my phone.

It was kind of fun to move this one from the *need to work on* album to the *need to Quilt Album*

and just an FYI - in the *Need to Bind* album,..... there's only two... oh ya!!!

  9. Such a fun and cheerful quilt. Woo Hoo on the finish! I am a visual person too. I do make lists but often a forgotten projects catches my eye and I will veer off track . LOL. Have a great weekend.

  13. I love everything about that flimsy! Isn't if funny how things get lost in the shuffle. Glad the puppies managed to unearth it so that it can turn into a quilt.

  14. Definitely a quilt worth finishing. It so colorful! I do have that book and had planned to make that quilt at some point. As long as my to be made list is, it's not likely at this point!

  19. Such a pretty RSC top, Alycia! For me, this year is to finish up UFOs and WIPs. Progress lately, but a bit slow. I have a list, it helps me work on the UFOs.

  20. Hi Alycia, that's a great quilt - and I actually have the book! It would be easier to make it over a year - I'll have to consider that - I do love an Irish chain quilt and yours is lovely. Congrats on only having two quilts in the to be bound category. Thanks for the party.
