I designed, cut, pieced and actually finished the Quilt top on this one... all within a Week!!
A friend of mine showed me one of those baby panels that have the number on them so you can take a pic of the baby and point to the number so you can tell how old they are. it was really cute, but then!! I got an idea.
What if you made one that sort of matched the Baby room decor, and used colors that went with the vibe?
So I Started drawing - and this is what I came up with:
There are twelve daisy's around the outside so you could put a number on them for the photo - and the 4 daisy's on the inside to lay the baby on. The grey is actually a grey with little white circles on it - its really cute, I'll have to get a close up with I get it quilted.
Funny thing tho - I offset the daisy's on the inside - and then I had to do math.... oops!! But it was fun!
now I need to get it Quilted!!
If you remember I also found some UFO's when Daisy the dog wagged her tail.... I might have more to show!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great baby quilt! Yep, you need to quilt it. Hum, 3 dogs? I thought you only had 2. I tend to look at blogs on Mondays and don't normally go backwards! They don't much like supervisors... if they are, they are sleeping on the job! Enjoy your week.
