Happy Friday!
We finally got some snow - not a lot - not even an inch, but!! Wednesday we had such high fire danger, and then there were fires, not just here but in Texas and wow - Its very damaging. So when I woke up to some snow Thursday morning, I was pretty tickled!
I have been working on Memory Quilts and T-shirt quilts for some clients - this one was so fun!
Her family has a history of making HONEY!! So cute!
We found Fleece that had Honey Bees on it!! it was a perfect compliment. I got to take it back to her, and! Of course - you have to love the smiles.
I am pretty happy to be ticking things off my To-Do list, but I have to stop adding things to the bottom haha!!
What did you get up to this week?

Those wildfires, so devastating. I felt so sorry for the farmers and the cattle I saw them trying to save from the fires. :( I am glad you escaped them, and I hope they will all die down. We all need snow/rain.
ReplyDeleteThat's a sweet finish, Alycia! :) I really like the quilting design you used. Maybe some more snow today? That's what our weather app is saying. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteThat bee flannel is super cute! I'm so glad you got snow; we finally did, too! Hopefully there is more in our future.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the fog is a predictor of more moisture in 90 days. That is what some of the farmers here would say. Great job on the t-shirt quilt.
ReplyDeleteCute quilt finish! We had high winds yesterday and could hardly see the mountains with all the sand blowing.
ReplyDeleteI do love crossing things off the list--a very pretty t-shirt quilt!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fun quilt. The rainbow is really cool. I haven't seen a full arch like that in such a compressed area before. Hopefully that snow aids in lowering the fire risk. We had a tornado go through town last night--in February!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great finish. The theme of honey bees is so special!
ReplyDeleteI do hope those fires were no where near you that I heard about the last couple days I don't remember what state you are in but that fog sure looks like smoke!
ReplyDeleteAlways great when you find the perfect fabric for the quilt. Great finish.
ReplyDeleteVery cool T-shirt quilt. The rainbow in the fog is a neat photo. Hopefully we'll all get some rain soon. We had fires just a few miles to the south of us on Thursday. Not looking forward to spring if we don't get some heavy duty moisture.
ReplyDeleteHi Alycia, that's a great t-shirt quilt. I hope that the snow helped with the fires?! We're safe here for a few more months. Have a great week!
