a bit ago I was browsing blogs - and I was reading LA Paylors blog . She mentioned the Jelly Roll 18 pattern, so I went googling, and I found it - and a You Tube video ...and there was a printable pattern....
then!! I drug my husband all over the state and of course, might have bought a strip pack ( they didn't call it a jelly roll, but same idea....
And then it got hot.....
she loves to run, chase sticks, chase her sister, play in the water system of the trees, and snuggle with me. She also loves snacks, Cheetos, and anything you deem safe for her ;-)

The colors of your quilt are so pretty! I followed the links, got the pattern printed off (got to love free patterns!) and I'll watch the video this evening. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThat's a neat pattern! Happy birthday to Bella - she's so sweet. Our pups love Cheetos too. :D
ReplyDeleteGood for you to use a recent purchase right away!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Bella. The Jelly Roll 18 patch looks fun and easy. Thanks for the links.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links! This looks like a fast and fun quilt to sew. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Bella got some extra treats to celebrate her birthday!! That is an awesome squirrel to follow - love how that looks. I have a project box with pattern and fabric gathered for a similar one - called Rectangles. It has 8 of the little rectangles in each block rather than the 18. Great use of a jelly roll.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, rabbit holes yield much beauty!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat jelly roll 18 patch looks like fun AND you used a recent purchase. . .gosh, it didn't even have a chance to get acquainted with the neighbors! Happy Birthday, Bella. I hope you were treated to a few Cheetos today!
ReplyDeleteThat jelly roll patch looks great. Hooray for using a recent purchase and a very happy birthday to Bella.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you took that trip down the rabbit hole. You didn't get lost at all! Nice job in not leaving a purchase to languish by itself for a long time. ;) We held off putting in the window AC units through the weekend knowing that a cool front was coming. I'll enjoy the cool air while I can! Thanks for joining Sew & Tell. And HB to your sweet pup. <3
ReplyDeleteThanks for the free pattern. I make quilt tops for a charity and we are always looking for easy patterns. Thanks for sharing..
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Bella! Love the new quilt you have going.
ReplyDeleteHooray for squirrels! And Happy Birthday Ms. Bella!
ReplyDeleteI read the headline on a Linky Party and said, "I bet that's Alycia." Guess what! I was right. Thanks for the laugh and the info.
ReplyDeleteVery fun new project!
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt and excited you used something you just bought! I tend to hold onto new things until they are out of style! LOL Happy birthday to Bella! Thanks for sharing with us at Monday Musings!
