Quilts of Valor

Happy Wednesday Morning!!

I have such fun quilts to show you today - but I also want to remind you - the Fabric Requirements for THE PATRIOT were posted last Wednesday -

and the FIRST CLUE will go LIVE on February 14th   - Valentines Day - a perfect way to show our love for our military!!

But for today - I have some Quilts of Valor to share with you for inspiration!! and They need their appropriate Ohhing and Ahhing!!

These three quilts
( the top 2 and the 1 below)
were all made by Judy V in Broomfield

Aren't they awesome!

and remember I told you about Donna Mae's Quilt class
at the Lyons Quilt shop?

Here are some more of the Quilts that they made!

This one below
( sorry for the blur)
was pieced and quilted by Francie

Aren't these all fun uses of panels?

If you haven't gotten your fabrics put together - get to pulling now
This will be fun!!

All are lovely, but I especially love the first 3 colorful QOV.

I have 3 or 4 panels that need to get finished into QOVs but I never know what I want to do with them. Some great ideas here (especially the braid). I'm excited to have two QOVs that are going to the longarmer SOON!

What a nice supply of QOVs you received!! I think those panel quilts are going to be a huge hit with the vets.

I’m so curious about the quilt by Judy V (that has the red border). Are those individual scrappy strips sewn together and cut into shape? That is so cute! Our group is always looking for scrappy strip patterns that we can use.

Following on the Judy V quilt. It looks like crumb blocks with solids! Inquiring minds want to know.
