Proof that I am Crazy!

You may have noticed I have been a little obsessed with plaid lately, and I am here today to prove that I. AM. OFFICIALLY. crazy..... yep.... me...

Thursday was my deadline to have my major reorganization done.... and well, I sort of passed!!!

See - Nothing left to move, sort, or pile.... and there is only one (huge) bucket for me to cut into strings, strips, squares, etc. all the pieces in it are smaller than 1/4 yard. That was my determining factor. And tha'ts good - I need to keep my strip bins full, and I need to cut stuff every once in a while - it makes me happy.

And then Thursday it got over 100 here - 104 to be exact, and during that 104 deg weather, I was loading horses, and then driving in a hot truck to my Sister in laws - to go work.... in that 104 deg weather. We ( my sil and I) thought we should play hooky.... but the boys wouldn't let us... so we worked until dark ...9pm-ish.

Friday I got up and said -I HAVE TO FINISH my PLAID STRING BLOCKS... yes I yelled it.... that way it was serious. And I finished the blocks... and there were *gasp* pieces left..... so....

Here is the crazy proof.....

Look what I started..

Probably you don't know this - but patience is not a gift that I have.... so I usually send these crumbs to Jessica or Kevin... and they do awesome things with them ( PS Kevin - I still have a bag of them for you!)

But my crazy took over - and I am making some blocks.....

Love the plaids, in fact it inspired me to 'hit the plaid box' to mak some pocket prayers for church tomorrow.

OMG! I would have been passed out and sleeping for days working all day in that heat! Guess I should take a cue from you and start shouting out things to finish. ;-) Can't wait to see the whole plaid quilt.

OMG Girl! You are crazy! 104 is stay indoors weather! You must have gotten too much sun and now are sewing snippets... seek help, and drink plenty of liquids.

More plaid you lucky girl! How about Moth in the Window? And, BTW, didn't you know that you can never have too much plaid? ;-)
