UFO for January

I am participating in the UFO challenge over at PatchworkTimes.com and this is the one that was chosen for January... please don't ask what number it was - cuz when she announced it - I went and pulled the UFO - and promptly forgot the number!!

This was the Red Color Challenge Quilt from 2011, and the top was pieced when Red was the chosen color ( I am SO bad with dates... I even forget my own anniversary!)

Now it is all quilted, and, are you ready for this.... seriously?  it is BOUND!!!

I tried to take a close up of the quilting... that of course, I did in red!!!  But it is a swirl with a hook, and was so fun to do.... I liked the swirly against the stripes.

one done.... 11 more to go!!

It looks wonderful! Your swirls are pretty and they do look good with the straight lines.

Great job!

Nothing like challenges and deadlines to get things done. Red challenge - done. UFO challenge - done!! Great job on both. The quilt is great!
