Quilts for Helen

Helen B in Las Vegas sent in these quilts. Now I know Helen is an accomplished Long Arm quilter - but - oh my - seeing these up close.... I think I might have drooled!
~
I posted a couple of close ups just because I can. And the more I spend time writing on my blog, the less work I have to do.... right?

I have been ironing on labels onto the backs of quilts. I have one of those tiny ironing boards, so I set it up on the top of my cutting table and it works perfectly. I am starting to make a new home downstairs. If I didn't have to do laundry and eat, I could live down here. hmmm, maybe I'll just bring some chocolate and I'd be good... for hours....
~
Today is my sew day with my guild gals... you know the ones who love to bind ( hy heros!) So the truck is loaded with quilts to bind, fabric to make binding, quilts that still need borders, and my sewing machine. I am ready to go! Well - I do need to make a vege tray. I am such a good vege tray maker - its probably the best thing I can cook. Good thing its not a food competition right? I think I will pick up a bag of Dove Dark Chocolate - they I will be loved, yes?
~
Hope you enjoy the quilts - Have a great day!
